The Board of Directors is elected by the membership at the annual Fall Rally in September or October each year. The term for each board member is one year with no term limits. (Board members serve from 1-6 years on average). The Board elects its officers at the annual Retreat held on the second Sunday of January each year. The officers are president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and two (2) "at large" members---these officers serve as the Executive/Financial Committee and meet each month. The Full Board (12-15 members) meets every other month in January, March, May, July, September, and November. In addition, Board members are expected to serve on one other committee (Hostel Development, Media/Marketing/Public Relations, and Human Resources) and these committees meet on a mutually agreeable schedule to their members.
